Environmental Commitment
About Us
Trees Planted to Date
Like any product, Flexiteek has an environmental footprint.
We are taking steps to minimise its impact in a number of ways across our business. Our production facility in the UK uses recycled water in the manufacturing process. This helps reduce water use while making Flexiteek by 80%. Additionally, Flexiteek is committed to recycle waste product in all our locations worldwide.
We have a coveted Ecovadis rating as a ‘Committed’ business, placing Flexiteek in the top 49% of responsible companies. This rating provides a clear indication of just how seriously we take our responsibilities to the environment.
Our UK manufacturing hub has ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 covering sustainable manufacturing and quality
practices. They provide reassurance that we are working hard to minimise our impact.
We currently work with two highly respected charities! We donate £5 for every 10m² of Flexiteek sold every year!
Our charity strategy has always been focused on reducing the impact of our products. We support long-term and meaningful projects that benefit endangered habitats, their biodiversity, and the wider communities that rely on them.
The World Land Trust (WLT) is a UK-based international conservation charity working to protect land in the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
Flexiteek offers you the lustrous looks of real teak and provides you with a sustainable alternative that does not threaten precious rainforests, showcasing our environmental commitment.
We are proud to support World Land Trust, an international conservation charity. They work to protect the world’s most threatened habitats and provide permanent protection for habitats and wildlife.
